If a record was deleted from a connected platform, ThatApp's data lake has it. Here is how to restore it.
Method 1: Ask AVA (fastest)
"A project record was deleted from Podio about three days ago — can you find it?"
Give AVA as much detail as you have: platform, app or workspace, approximate date, record name or any field value you remember. AVA will find matching deleted records and show them to you. Select the one you want and tell AVA to restore it.
Method 2: Browse Sync directly
In the ThatApp interface, navigate to Sync → your platform → your app. At the top of the record list, click the "Deleted Items" filter. Deleted records appear with their deletion timestamp and deleting user.
Click Restore next to any record. Confirm the restore.
What gets restored
The record is restored to its state at the moment of deletion — field values, file attachments, and comments included. Relationships to other records are restored where the related records still exist.
After restore
The record reappears in the source platform within 30 seconds. It will be visible to all users who have access to that app or workspace.
If the restore fails
Some platforms reject re-creation of certain record types (for example, records in archived workspaces). If a restore fails, AVA will explain why and offer to export the record data as an alternative.
