Merge fields — Help

Merge fields are the connection between your template and your data. Each one names a value to pull from the item being printed.

What you can pull

Direct field values from the item.
Values from related items.
Calculated and formatted values.

Name them clearly. A template is easiest to maintain when its merge fields read like the document — client_name, total_due — rather than internal field IDs.
