A template is a document with holes in it. You design the layout once and mark where the data goes; Print fills the holes per item.
- Design the layout — your branding, headings, and structure.
- Add merge fields where item data should appear (see Merge fields).
- Save the template and attach it to the app it serves.
- Generate from any item, or in batch.
