Connecting Podio is the moment ThatApp becomes useful. Authorize it once and a real-time copy of your organization starts flowing into a data lake you own.
- Authorize Podio. From your dashboard, connect Podio and grant access to the workspaces you want protected. Credentials are encrypted at rest and scoped to the workspace.
- Initial sync runs. We pull a full copy first — every item, comment, file, task, and revision across the apps you selected. Large organizations take longer here; this is a one-time catch-up.
- Real-time takes over. Once caught up, Podio streams changes to us over webhooks, milliseconds behind live. You do not schedule anything.
What gets captured
Everything that makes up your organization in Podio:
- Items — every record across every app
- Comments — the full activity stream
- Files — every attachment, at scale
- Tasks and revisions — the complete history, so you can revert an item to any earlier state
The more you connect, the more AVA knows. Podio is the core, but the lake is not limited to it. Every platform you add later feeds the same lake and becomes part of what AVA can answer from.
What this costs
Backup is $30 per 1 million records, per platform, per organization, per month — and the first $30 includes the platform connection. Records round up to the next million, and billing uses the peak daily count for the month. Roughly a dollar a day to start.
